I started listening to more house music again because it’s almost September. When I lived in San Francisco everyone played a lot more house in September, October, and November because that was our summer months. July/August in San Francisco feels like winter and then changes quickly into summer. The city transforms and house music is very very popular. You hear it everywhere. For me, being almost September listening to house puts me right back there. I didn’t realize this till I was listening to Imagine by Armin Van Buuren the last couple days and when I was just in San Francisco hearing house music everywhere. It just so happens that Electric Zoo, New York’s Electronic Music Festival is just weeks away at Randall’s Island Park in NYC. Started listening to house just in time to get pumped for the Labor Day weekend festival. If you are not into this music, give this show a try and go with a group of people. You might be surprised how fun it is.

Think about each season and what kind of genre you listen to. For a lot a people summer and spring is country, house, or reggae and winter and fall is rock, indie, and hip hop. If you don’t listen to that much music, maybe you should start soon.

I took this picture while I was just out in San Francisco while I was sitting in Dolores Park. This used to be my hang out spot for almost 2 years until I moved back east. It is a cityscape of downtown with the fog rolling in off the Pacific Ocean. The fog moves in like clockwork during certain months.

To be honest I didn’t see that cloud at the very top till I uploaded it to my computer. After I noticed that, I wanted to emphasis it. I did this by converting the picture to black and white and using a filter to make it the tone and contrast the way it looks. I then cropped the photo 10 by 10 so the black sky would be elongated with the lost cloud above.
